In this assignment we were to create a political ad for a dog. Weird, but whatever. We were to create a clipping mask to select out the dog from his background, and a text-mask for the RACE TO 2016 text. Then we were to include the logo (bottom right), twitter icon (bottom left) and a button of our own design saying to pledge your support.
The client needs to come off as a good candidate (the white outer glow on the dog creates an image of “goodness”) and for users to know they can click on the buttons (which is why I included the white outline and an iOS-esque bevel on them).
